SOC of LFP-Material

Hello community, does anybody know, why the socmax and socmin of the LFP-Material is set to 0.9 and 0.01? Wouldn´t it be more logical to just reduce the reference concentration of the lithium within the LFP material by 10% and set the socmax to 1? Or is there some good reason why it´s been set this way?
