Finding the derivative

I encourage you to explain, in more detail, what you are trying to do. Are you trying to do post-processing of data from a time-domain model? Are you attempting to specify a function to use, or some kind of operation to apply, during the execution of a time-domain model? What kind of physics or math are you modeling?
