Is this the model to which you are referring? It is in the Application Gallery (not to be confused with the Application Library). https://www.comsol.com/model/directional-coupler-14593 . You can find an accompanying .pdf file that helps explain that model at: https://www.comsol.com/model/download/1259021/models.woptics.directional_coupler.pdf .

Hi..Robert Koslover,
I am sorry for late reply. Actually, I was trying to calculate the cross-talk between two core in above example [https://www.comsol.com/model/directional-coupler-14593]. I can calcuate it by using couple mode theory by calucting E field for one (or another) core taking other core absent and calculating the overlapp integral. But I could not do it by using supermode thery as discussed in the following paper.
[(http://opg.optica.org/ol/fulltext.cfm?uri=ol-41-16-3759&id=348251)]. In above example, it was shown that how the electric field couples from one waveguide to other, but it was not ediscussed how can be extract the coupling coeffcient/cross -talk between the two core.
