How to simulate WOOD FIRE with Comsol?

Hello dear COMSOL community,
I have this phenomenon I want to simulate with COMSOL to understand it and improve the way we use wood in my region: WOOD FIRE
I need ideas in the approach to take using chemistry (if needed), heat (conduction, convection & radiation), ... My biggest problem is the simulation of the wood fire itself maybe taking in account the phase changes, etc. I am very interested in the amount and types of gases emitted and the quantity of heat generated.

this is certainly a very interesting but also very ambitious project. I cannot contribute much because we are not doing Chemical Reaction Engineering at the moment.
I would recommend to perform an extensive research on literature, the COMSOL knowledge base, the model gallery, contributions from the COMSOL conferences and so forth.
Then look into one physics aspect after the other.

Would certainly be interesting to hear something about your efforts in the future.

I would recommend to perform an extensive research on literature, the COMSOL knowledge base, the model gallery, contributions from the COMSOL conferences and so forth. Thank you very much for the advice. I will definitely look into literature since I cannot find any similar model on the COMSOL community website. If I happen to build and solve an interesting model I will share it.
