Is there any good way to simulate a suqare inductor

Usually the circular inductor can be simplified as a 2D axisymmetric model in COMSOL, which means much less elements, DOF and memory cost.
However, if we want to simulate a square inductor, does it means we can only use the 3D model?
I build a 3D model, and add the Single Turn Coil Domain feature to this, but it seems to be hard to get a convergence.
Is there some tips which shall be noticed when model a non-circular section closed loop with the "Gap feed" Single Turn Coil Domain feature?
Wish to receive some feedbacks!

Use lumped ports is a good way to do this, see 3D power inductor tutorial.

If the single turn coil domain is used yo simulate the non-circular inducyor, the default solver is hard to get a convergence , and finnally I added the Vanka to the default iterative solver. The varianle for the vanka solver is only the magnetic vector potential, i.e A. Besides, the disadvantage for vanka is it can only be used for linear element discretization.
