Glass break as result of pressure - fire sprinkler tube

I am trying to simulate a fire sprinkler tube of glass with glycerol inside it. As result of increased temperature the glycerol should expand and the glass will break. In the tube there is also a little air so the glycerol has some space to expand. But the question now is, how can I simulate this in such a way the glass will break?
I have made a model with a heated air-flow and the glycerol is expanding with a high pressure as result but the glass is not breaking.

Chris
