Temperature rise from impact

I am attempting to model the temperature rise from the impact of two metallic spheres. I was able to solve the structural mechanics portion of the problem, but I am having trouble coupling the heat transfer portion. The heat source should come from the thermoelastic effect. As the material is stressed (elastically), the temperature will change according to:



I am just not sure how to implement this into COMSOL. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Note that I raised this topic a number of months ago, in a discussion titled, "Heat Generation From Impact," but I never really got to the bottom of it.
