hardness Rockwell of material

Hello to all,

i'm working with titanium material on the Solid Mechanic Module simulation. I would like to know how can I change the hardness (Vickers or Rockwell) of the titanium, in the material properties?

Do you have any ideas?

Hi Antoine,

Interesting question. The hardness number is not an “intrinsic” material property that is used in FEA simulation. It best correlates with ultimate tensile strength, but is also affected by the yield stress and the elastic modulus.
