Trouble with graphs

Hi,
I'm having some trouble with a transient analysis.
Every 24 hours of my simulation I need to use the daily average of dependent variable Y to calculate X. This can easily be done with a MATLAB function. The remaining 23 hours X is set to zero.
X is then summed up over time resulting in the first attached picture (over_time.png: diagram showing the variations of X in time for two points).
This is all good. The problem occur when I display the variation of X over the domain. The resulting diagram shows X=0 over the whole domain in every timestep (line.png). As a COMSOL beginner this makes very little sense to me as X obviously isn't zero (as can be seen in over_time.png).
Any ideas are much appreciated!
