Best way to query electric field at (x,y,z) coordiantes?

Hello,
Some time ago I have set up a method to query the electrostatic field in my 3D model at given (x,y,z) coordinates, using a 'Cut Point 3D' node.
From a java code, I repeatedly set the (x,y,z) coordinates of this node in a loop, to query the field values at many locations. COMSOL slowly runs out of memory, even though I believed this is not adding anything new to the model.
What is the best way to achieve my goal?
Thank you
Daniel

Hello,

if you are interested in few points, you can use domain point probe entering the co-ordinates of your points(x, y, z) and calculate the electric field.
Hope that this will be useful
