How to get resonance frequency with prescribed acceleration?

I am trying to get the resonance frequency of a structure fixed at one side with a prescribed acceleration pushing on the other side. The solution gives me the resonance frequency as there is no prescribed acceleration, and a friend told me that Comsol neglects prescribed force or acceleration if the solver is looking for eigenfrequencies.
Is there anyway to solve this?
Thank you.
