Convergence of electric field in media

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am studying the electric field produced by a resistor submerged in water. In the simplified 2D model attached below, I am using the electric currents physics and applying electric potential boundary conditions across the resistor. In the solution, the electric field at the interface between the liquid and the solid does not converge with mesh refinement. I added fillets at sharp corners, but still have been unable to get the solution to converge. Is there a way to fix this? I have a 3D model, and I would like to get this model to converge as well.

Thanks,
