Governing equation in wave propagation (for self-focusing)

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, all

I have been studying the non-linear optical phenomena by COMSOL(v4.4) tool.
My first try is started from the Self-focusing Model (frequency domain solving) which is provided from COMSOL base program. (See the detached file).
So I checked the governing equation for this case. But the form is quite different with my expectation.
Is there anybody to explain the reason?
