gamma-ray through the glass

Hello, i'm trying to simulate a gamma-radiation propagating through vacuum and facing a wall of glass of a defined thickness. I know the energy of a photon in keV. How should i go about building this model? Choose electromagnetic waves? What type of study to choose? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Ilya N.

Ilya,

Attached is test model for TE plane wave propagation through glass layer. Model can be easily modified to consider TM plane wave propagation.
Modeling methodology is described in the model library example:

You might need to use Beam Envelopes (ewbe) interface available in Wave Optics module if the thickness of glass layer is much larger than wavelength of the incident gamma-ray.

Regards,
Sergei
