I am a beginner in Comsol and I need to simulate a problem of plasmonic nano wire on silicon substrate. I used the plasmonic nano wire grating example. I want to define the refractive index of port 2 as complex number (3.8-0.01*i) but I always got an error " Refractive index must be a number" . What should I do ?
