if you are using a windows machine, the manuals are in the installation directory. The short cut is:
start/comsol directory/documentation
the full path is something along this:
Program Files\COMSOL\COMSOL4.3\Multiphysics\doc\pdf

If you are looking for documentation for a product you are licensed for:
======================================================
You can reach the documentation through the File>Help>Documentation menu.
Alternatively, as AC pointed out above, you can make your way to the COMSOL installation folder (By default, on Windows, on the current version, it's C:/Program Files/COMSOL/COMSOL51/Multiphysics/ ) , and then look for the doc folder and then pick between html or pdf (I prefer pdf). In there, select the product whose documentation you are looking for.
If you are looking for documentation for a product you are not licensed for:
=========================================================
