The proplem, I have been trying to solve is quite simple. It's a non-newtonian fluid flowing through a needle (1.3mm dia, 105mm long) exhibiting a shear thinning flow. I am trying to use power power law for this problem but it seems that for lower values of fluid behavior index n, solution is not converging.
What could be reason behind that?
For body lotion, parameters for power law are n = 0.13 and k =40 kg/(m*s).
Inlet: velocity is 0.1266m/s and outlet: pressure = 0 with no-slip wall condition.
Is there any lower limit for the Fluid Behavior Index?
