Time dependent study, external current density.

I am trying to simulate an oscillating background current density inside a cylindrical cavity.
I used the AC/DC -> mf module, and tried to use the external current density option.
I selected the time dependent study, and attempted a solution but got an error message about the initial values.
So I tried to override the initial conditions with the values from external current density, but I can't figure out how to do that.
It would be great if anyone can help me figure out how to handle this initial condition issue.
