Frquency domain modal analysis

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi!

I am performing a frequency domain modal analysis and would like to evaluate the contribution of the different eigenmodes to my forced response. Of course I can run the modal solver for each eigenpair and check the response, but that is very time consuming... Is there any way to run the modal solver for all eigenpairs and then generate a plot where the result for the different eigenpairs are plot separately? I would be very grateful for any input, suggestion or idea on this. Thanks!

Hi Hanna,

You can place the modal analysis inside a parametric sweep, where the sweep parameter is the mode number.

The eigenfrequnecy analysis should then be done in separate study so that it is not repeated inside the parametric sweep.

Thank you Henrik! Such an easy solution that I hadn't thought about - it works perfect!

Best Regards Hanna
