Resonance excitation in Time Domain

Hi,
Assuming i have a structure that i know its resonance frequencies (found with Eigenfrequency study). I try to simulate the same structure in Time Domain with sinusoidal excitation at its resonance frequency.
Should i expect from the structure to behave as it is at resonance? If not, how can i excite natural frequencies of the structure in Time Domain simulation?
