Magnetic fields and thermal expansion

Good morning,
I am simulating the effect of thermal expansion/contraction in an electromagnetic actuator udner different value sof ambient temperature.
To do that I am using heat transfer at solids, solid mechanics and magnetic field, to apply current in the coil that drives the actuator. I am using a stationary study to see the effect of the thermal expansion/contraction.
My aim is to calculate the magnetic force when the geometry is expanded or contracted. To do that, I am suing the solution of the first study as initial condition of my second study, which only includes the magnetic fields physics.
Is this the correct way to go? Does anyone have some experience on that?
Thanks.
