Color range

hi, i have a simple question. how can i change the range of colors in the beam that you can see in the picture? like having a range of all colors such as red and yellow. thank you

Hello Erfan,

One of the new features added at version 5.5 makes this easy. See "Gradient Between Two Colors in Plots" in the COMSOL 5.5 Release Highlights.

If you can't upgrade to version 5.5: in earlier versions you needed to create a custom color table to achieve the same. It's a bit tedious if all you want is a simple gradient between two colors, but it will work. You can read on custom color tables in COMSOL Multiphysics version 5.4, Reference Manual, page 1323.
