Eddy currents and magnetic fields with moving mesh

Hello,
I'm trying to build a 3D model of Eddy currents in a conductor oscillating in a magnetic field. I'm using the AC/DC magnetic fields module, but have access to anything in the AC/DC package. In particular, I want to model a conducting plate oscillating (translating, not rotating) in a magnetic field, and analyze the resulting perterbation to the magnetic field.
This is somewhat similar to an application library example: https://www.comsol.com/blogs/computing-voltages-produced-electromagnetic-induction/ except that I believe my situation requires a 3D model.
From what I've read, the above method of creating a separate geometry Union for the moving object, then creating an Assembly of the whole model and applying a Pair Continuity Boundary Condition, doesn't work specifically for my case of 3D magnetic fields with a current source (e.g., the induced Eddy currents). So, I'm trying to apply the moving mesh physics within a single Union (no Pair Continuities).
So far, I've built a model with a cylindrical magnet (with defined remanent flux density) and a copper plate placed under the magnet, separated by an air gap. I added a Moving Mesh physics with a Presribed Mesh Displacement on the plate boundaries and a Free Deformation in the model volume. A Parametric Sweep of the displacement of the plate mesh solves successfully, and gives a changing magnetic flux through the top surface of the plate. (MovingPlate_ParametricSweep.mph plus a couple of screenshots attached.)
Next, what I actually want is a Time Dependent study with the displacement of the plate mesh defined as a sinusoidal function of time. However, the Time Dependent study fails to converge. Following the 2D example, the Stationary solver is set to solve only the Moving Mesh. The Time Dependent solver is set to solve both physics using Fully Coupled. The study fails with error “Nonlinear solver did not converge. Maximum number of Newton iterations reached.” (MovingPlate_TimeDependent.mph attached.)
Does anyone have any ideas for running the Time Dependent version of this model, or alternatives? Thanks.
