averaged property in mesh elements

I want to run two simulations, over the same triangular mesh (2D):
In "Simulation A", I obtain three values of my variable, in the three nodes of each triangle of the mesh, and in consecuence, an interpolated surface of this variable over the full domain.
In "Simulation B", coupled with the "Simulation A", I want to apply for each element of the mesh, an averaged value of the variable previously obtained, as a property of the domain.
Is this possible? Thanks in advance.
