Lorentz force calculation

I am trying to obtain the Lorentz force generated by a coil to a workpiece. I am integrating the Lorentz force over the entire domain (i.e. workpiece), but I was just wondering if COMSOL uses the average force experienced by the workpiece to do that calculation. If I understood it right, force is concentrated on the surface, specifically on the area directly above the coil (assuming workpiece is above the coil and is wider than the coil)?
