AC/DC Solenoid Model Issues

I am attempting to model an electromagnet by using a solenoid wrapped around an iron core. I want to evaluate the magnetic force on a sample area a set distance away from the solenoid, along the axis of the solenoid. Both the solenoid and sample area are contained in a cylinder made of air.

I have created the model, and run simulations but when I post-process for the electromagnetic force under Magnetic Fields, the direction of the electromagnetic force on the sample area due to the solenoid does not make sense. I believe it should be pointing towards the solenoid, but I am unsure if I have made an error in setting up the model or processing it. I am attaching the model.
