making symmetry mesh.

Hi

I am trying to make a perfect symmetry mesh in cylinder flow with symmetry top and bottom walls.
Would u please guide me to make a completely symmetry mesh in this case.

That is a good question, I often would like to have symmetric mesh, typically by meshing 1/4 or 1/8 of my volume and then symmetrise directly.

Now this can only work in Comsol IF the full geoemtry is there, as BC's are set on the geometry and then heritated by the mesh, AND second, today, there is NO way to make a symmetric mesh from an existing "current" mesh and a given symmetry plane.

In certain cases you can get a symmetric mesh by "revolving" the mesh from a 2D view (typically for a cylinder).
