A Microfluidics Computational Simulation for Clinical POC Lab On Chip Applications
发布日期 2019
A technological revolution of Point-Of-Care (POC) devices is becoming essential, especially infectious diseases diagnosis for vulnerable population, it can be achieved by upgrading the Lab on Card device. In this device, the reaction is conducted by an Eppendorf tube as a biological sample holder. Hence, a microfluidics circuits will be proposed to control and optimize the flowing of samples, thus a computational simulation on COMSOL Multiphysics® 5.3 software is conducted to study the mixing concentration distribution of the interaction between the liquefied sputum with other biological reagents and fluid flow pressure and velocity, then a design of the whole microfluidic flow pattern will be observed.
