Predicting Electromagnetic Signatures of Naval Vessels
时长: 42:14
Characterizing the electrical and magnetic signatures of naval vessels has become increasingly important in helping these vessels avoid threats and detection and for developing novel magnetic navigation technologies.
This archived webinar covers the capabilities of the COMSOL Multiphysics® software for modeling corrosion-related electric, magnetic, and RF signatures, as well as the emissions of ships and submarines. Additionally, there are demonstrations in the software, showcasing applications such as:
- Modeling a cathodic protection system on a ship hull
- Extracting the magnetic signature of a submarine hull
The webinar also covers advanced techniques such as uncertainty quantification and the use of digital twins for enabling simulation-based decision making in real-world naval environments.
