Electric Current Heat Generation in Multi-Domains

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello All,

I use Electric Currents (ec) Module to solve current distribution in a 3D domain. I can get the total heat dissipation (Ohmic heating) from this module as a spatial variable (Q=f(x, y, z) ).
I have a series of identical domains and would like to solve the current distribution in one of them ONLY and then apply the heat dissipation calculated in (ec) module to all domains using Heat Transfer Module. This way I can save a lot of computational time. However, since the heat dissipation is a function of spatial coordinates I cannot apply it to all domain in Heat Transfer Module. I have tried to export the dissipation heat and then import it as an interpolation function but could not get correct results.
I was wondering how to apply distributed heat generation calculated in one domain, to a number of identical domains?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Farid
