Pressure Distribution Output in a Turbulent Flow Study

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am running a Turbulent Flow Study 2D and 3D on the S1223 Airfoil wing and have meshed and outputted resultant lift and drag forces using the spf stress command in the x and y directions.

Is there any method or command I can use to output the pressure distribution along the airfoil of the wing as opposed to just resultant forces.

I would like to use that pressure distribution as the model input in a static study either in Solidworks or Comsol, depending on whether I can apply the Tsai-Hill Criterion in Comsol. Otherwise, with that pressure distribution I can apply the necessary criteria in Solidworks.

Thanks.

Any help is appreciated.

Ps. I am aware of the Fluid Structure Interaction study as a work around of using the turbulent flow study results as model input, but the professor said this defeated the purpose of running FEA analysis. So I am attempting to simply output the pressure distribution instead of resultant forces and then move to Solidworks or apply Tsai-Hill Criterion to a Static Study and stay in Comsol.
