Convergence of solution

Hi,

I'm trying to simulate the propagation of a TEM mode in a coaxial wave guide. I use the mode shape of the TEM mode at one end of the wave guide and solve for a wide spectrum of frequencies (500MHz-1.7GHz) on which I use an Inverse Fourier transform on MATLAB to get the time domain signal. However there are certain frequencies in the spectrum where the solution does not converge and it returns the error message "Divergence of Linear iterations". I'm assuming this is because of the resonant frequencies. Has anyone else come across this error?

How can I get past these frequencies? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sai
