I am struggling myself for a simulation problem: I have to simulate the heat transfer between solid and fluid in a porous solar absorber. The problem is that heat transfer in this case is characterized by three different phenomena: convection - conduction - radiation. My idea was to set three different physics like: Heat transfer in solids for the conduction part, Laminar Flow for convective heat transfer and Radiation in partecipating media for radiative heat transfer. I am trying to run this simulation (in wich the temperature is a common parameter between the three physics ) with iterative solver since with direct solver is impossible to run on my machine (out of memory) but it is impossible for COMSOL to find a solution in that way (Iterative Fully Coupled 1 solver)
Can you suggest a solution?
Best regards to everyone,
Raffaele
