[Natural Convection] Vacuum Flask Tutorial - "non physical behavior in velocity field"

I started to get some problems with some particular conditions (I got a simulation that converges for some deltaT and don't converge for others), so I decided to go back to manuals and tutorials to read them again and to change them to evaluate different conditions.
My approach is almost identical to the vacuum flask tutorial integrated in the software, but I am using a stationary study.

Please see attached image. This image shows the velocity field obtained from the tutorial varying just the domain size. I didn't change any other parameter, so you should be able to reproduce easily my simulation. I will attach the file if needed.
As you can notice, 3 meters away from the domain, the velocity has a value of 0.45m/s. This doesn't match my physical knowledge and intuition, but I may be wrong. I expect the velocity to decrease at some point but it doesn't happen.
I am facing the same exact problem with simpler files where I use an aluminum block heated from below.
